Seth Michaels

In 2010 Seth was 18 years old when he performed his first entertainment event. It was a humble trivia night at the Basement Burger Bar in Downtown Farmington.

For the next 3 years, his entertainment company grew, until he was DJing and MCing nearly a dozen weekly public entertainment events at almost as many local venues. For whatever reason when Seth ran the show lots of people wanted to come. It wasn’t long before he started to get hired for private events. It started with graduations, school dances, and birthday parties, but he got to do a few weddings in those early years as well.

When Seth turned 21 he took a contract with Holland America Line as a cruise ship DJ/MC and said farewell to home for nearly half a year. For the first few months he DJ’d throughout the Caribbean. Then he sailed across the Atlantic through the Straits of Gibraltar where the rest of the voyage was spent sailing through the Mediterranean.

When he came back from entertaining at sea his bar and club events had dried completely up, but he still had some private events on the books. That’s when Michaels Entertainment was rebuilt with a focus on private events, and in particular, up-scale wedding productions.

Nearly 10 years later we’ve added wedding videography, event uplighting, and photobooth services. We’ve got dozens of team members, 3 full-time employees, and a heart to serve our community through remarkable services.
